Executive board
The Executive or E-Board manages Circle K at the club level. E-Board members are elected every term from a pool of candidates nominated by other members.
CSULB CIrcle K's E-Board include the positions of President, Vice President of Administration, Vice President of Service, Secretary, and Treasurer. To run for an E-Board position, a candidate must be nominated and then give a speech during the club meeting of elections week. The club then votes on which candidate they want to receive the position, although candidates who lose a race can run for other positions. |
appointed board
The Appointed or A-Board provides other important roles for the club that the E-Board does not. As the name suggests, A-Board members are appointed by decision of the E-Board who review their application and conduct an interview with the potential A-Board member.
When a new E-Board is elected, they usually release applications for the A-Board positions a few weeks later, although a member can apply for A-Board throughout the year if there are still vacant positions. CSULB Circle K's A-Board this year include the positions of Cinematographer, Membership Development and Education Chair, Public Relations Chair, Scrapbook-Historian, Service Chair, Social-Spirit Chair, and Technology Chair. |
